Living in Relleu
Relleu has about 1,200 inhabitants, around half of them foreigners who live here permanently and are well integrated. The village grew around an old Moorish castle, surrounded by almond orchards and olive groves, with views of valleys, mountains and sometimes the sea.
Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, a bakery, a pharmacy, a health clinic and a weekly market are in the village. The beach at Villajoyosa is 19 km away (25 minutes), Alicante airport 55 km. Relleu is known for its fiestas, its olive oil and the Pasarela, its suspension footbridge.
